    Product Description:
Students effortlessly learn to READ and SPELL these sight words because the imagery on the words causes it to stick in their long term memory. Use a whole new method of memorization. Employ their strong visual memory to learn words. This unique learning technique shows the students how to use their internal "camera" to take a picture of the word. This enables them not only to remember the name of the word, but also to SPELL the word from memory. The left brain hemisphere stores the name of the word, while the right brain hemisphere stores the "picture" of the word. To help the student store the name and picture in one unit, we use the unique, powerful method of Imbedding. This method of learning works wonderfully with students of all ages and abilities: Kindergarten teachers can give their students a real "leg up" in learning the early sight words. First grade teachers use this method to ensure that all their students learn the basic sight words by the end of the year. Second and third grade teachers use it for those students who are reading below grade level. ESL teachers find them very effective for their population. Struggling readers, students on an IEP, and students with an auditory processing glitch find these cards invaluable for making a "leap" in learning. The beauty of this method is that by using the child's "camera" to learn the words, the child not only learns to read the words easily, but also spell them using his new-found "photographic memory." The craft right brain dolch third grade sight word card set contains teacher instructions and the following sight word cards: Dolch Primer (52 sight word cards) - all, am, are, at, ate, be, black, brown, but, came, did, do, eat, four, get, good, have, he, into, like, must, new, no, now, on, our, out, please, pretty, ran, ride, saw, say, she, so, soon, that, there, they, this, too, under, want, was, well, went, what, white, who, will, with, yes

    Kindle Edition (34 pages)

Dolch List Nouns: Pre-Primer to Third Grade

    Product Description:
This book of sight “flash” words covers the entire list of nouns from the Dolch list from Pre Primer to Third Grade level. The book helps children easily master sight words. This book is written in large letters to make it easy to read. Pages are done separately, to address the issue of letterand picture distortion on some e-readers.

The book is for children learning to read English, learning English as a second language and for parents teaching children to read. The book is one of several children’s books from this author, available from this outlet.

The author was motivated to write children’s books when she had to teach her own twins born in 2006. English is a second language for them and the boys were doing very badly at school. They could not read, or speak English.
Using the children’s books she writes, the author taught the twins to read and speak English. In 2014, one of the twins came out third overall in second grade at his school and the other twin came out in the top ten. What is working for her own children is what the author shares with other parents in her children’s books.

    Product Description:

The purpose of this book is to engage the learner of the American language with more than just their eyes and ears. The Hands to Spell-Read-Write series brings hands-on-learning to the American language by utilizing American Sign Language (ASL) Manual Alphabet to learn to spell new words. Once the spelling of a word is memorized, then the ability to read and write it becomes easier for the learner. Hands-on-learning has been proven countless times to be the superior way of learning anything and research has shown that utilizing the ASL Manual Alphabet and the use of ASL/Signed Exact English (SEE) signs to learn and spell new words has been very affective by providing the learner with a visual and kinesthetic/tactile representation of a word.

The goal of this simple workbook is to help teach the spelling of the Pre-primer Dolch sight words.

For each word, the activities are:
    1. Color the letters at the top of the page.
    2. Learn the spelling in ASL Manual Alphabet.
    3. Trace the word on the different font types: Bubble, dotted manuscript, and dotted cursive.
    4. Use the Braille Alphabet to “write” the word in Braille.
    5. Check the box in front of dictionary after you have looked up the word and learned its meaning. Do the same for the ASL/SEE sign, and for teaching someone how to spell the word using the ASL Manual Alphabet.
    6. Practice writing the word. Try to fill this area with the word as many times as you can.
    7. Make up a sentence using the word, then write it.
    Spelling quizzes are placed throughout.
